Resetting is the backbone of midgame progression in Soul’s Crossover X. What reset does and does not do

Reset does not replace Soul Shard farming or reforge investment. You still need crafted souls and good spells after each reset cycle; you just level faster with experience and Gem income.

Efficient leveling path before reset:

1. Complete Snowdin and Hotland quest chains (Map).
2. Farm bosses with shard pity instead of random mobs (How to Beat Bosses).
3. Redeem Codes that require reset count only after you plan to reset.
4. Craft one reliable soul at Sans before reset so rebuild damage stays acceptable at low level.

Where the reset room is

Go to the main spawn lobby. Stand between two iconic NPCs:

• Frisk — Reforge (5 Gems per attempt).
• Chara — Enchant NPC.

The reset room is the doorway between Frisk and Chara — not inside either NPC shop. Walk through when your level requirement is met; the UI should offer a reset confirmation. If nothing triggers, you are likely under level or need to finish a prerequisite quest.
