What we rank

Each tier list uses a familiar S through D scale. S-tier entries dominate endgame content; A-tier options are strong mid-to-late game picks; B and C tiers are stepping stones; D-tier covers starter gear you should replace quickly.

Souls Tier List

Souls are the heart of Soul’s Crossover X progression. Every soul adds HP, mana, walk speed, and jump power — and a few grant powerful passives. Seven Souls sits alone at the top with +7777 HP/Mana and +7 mobility stats, but Determination and Bravery remain excellent S-tier alternatives before you finish shard farming. Weapons Tier List

Your weapon defines burst damage, piercing, and critical consistency. Frisk Knife leads with roughly 4500 DPS and 60% piercing from the US Frisk boss. Craftable Chaos Saber and boss drops like Real Knife and Trident fill out the top tiers. Shop staples — Empty Gun, Worn Dagger, Torn Notebook, Tem Katana — are ranked so early players know what to buy before their first rare drop.

Armor Tier List

Armor adds thousands of HP, melee damage, and mobility on top of your soul and weapon. True Locket (20% from Chara) and Swap Locket (2% from US Papyrus) dominate S-tier with massive stat totals and Erased Set synergy. Shop staples like Heart Locket and Tem Armor fill A-tier for mid-game players who want guaranteed upgrades without Barrier RNG. Sets Tier List

Sets reward you for wearing matching soul, weapon, and armor pieces together. Erased Set (Real Knife + True Locket + Determination Soul) is often the best all-around combo for damage, defense, and regen. Justice Set and Tem Set offer cheaper entry points with solid percentage bonuses — ideal if you are still climbing toward Seven Souls.

How to use these rankings

Tier lists are guides, not laws. Your best pick depends on playstyle:

• Glass cannon: Bravery Soul passive (+24% DMG after 8 hits) plus Frisk Knife or Real Knife.
• Survival farming: Kindness Soul shield and Guardian’s Grace healing per kill.
• Mobility exploration: Tem Soul with +15 jump power and Tem Set bonuses.

Ranking criteria

We evaluate each item on:

1. Raw stat totals — HP, mana, and mobility at equip level.
2. Passive or set bonuses — Bravery ramp, Kindness shield, Erased Set percentages.
3. Acquisition cost — gold, gems, shard drop rates, and level gates.
4. Boss fight performance — sustained DPS, survivability, and clear speed.
5. Long-term value — whether the item stays relevant after Seven Souls and endgame weapons.

Items that excel in one niche (Tem Soul jump height) rank high in A-tier even if they lose a straight stat comparison to Seven Souls.
